Tamarac Senior Center is a licensed adult day center in Broward County. The items below are not separate services you choose from a menu. They are parts of one supervised day. A member arrives in the morning by our transportation, has meals, joins activities and health programs, gets help when needed, and returns home in the afternoon. Everything runs on a single daily schedule, staffed and coordinated so families know exactly what the day looks like. The program is bilingual in English and Spanish, and it operates Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
We provide free door to door transportation to and from the center. A driver picks the member up at home in the morning and returns them in the afternoon, which means families do not need to arrange rides or manage parking.

Learn moreA typical day follows a set routine. In the morning, one of our drivers picks the member up at home and brings them to the center, so no ride needs to be arranged. Members are welcomed by staff and have breakfast. Through the morning and afternoon, the schedule moves between exercise and wellness, social and health programs, games and recreation, and quieter time, with lunch and snacks served along the way. Assistance is available whenever a member needs it, and beauty and self-care activities are offered during the day. In the afternoon, the same transportation returns each member home. The center is open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and families can plan around those hours.
